Political Attack Ad Shames Candidate For Han Solo Cosplay

Obamacare, big government, and Han Solo cosplaying. What on Earth could those things possibly have in common? Things the GOP is currently battling, both nationally and in Georgia's 6th Congressional District.
As incumbent Tom Price (R – GA) recently left Congress to assume a role as Secretary of Health and Human Services in the Trump Administration, the 6th Congressional District in Georgia is in the midst of a special election to fill the vacant seat on Capitol Hill.
The special election, which is to be held on April 18, is between state senator Judson Hill (R) and former Congressional aide Jon Ossoff (D). This week, thanks to the Congressional Leadership Fund, an attack ad surfaced putting the race into the national spotlight. The Republican Super PAC bought air time in the 6th District to attack Ossoff on his past of cosplaying as Han Solo.
The ad, which attempted to paint Ossoff as an immature and childish choice of a candidate, focused on Ossoff's past at Georgetown University. Ossoff, who attended Georgetown from 2005 to 2009, took part in a few goofy sketch videos with his fraternity and in this particular video, claims he is "Han Solo, captain of the Millenium Falcon."
The attack ad, which can be seen below, includes its share fair of faux Star Wars fonts and the ever-so-intimidating voice over actor commonly heard in attack ads every election cycle.
