Hasbro's Remote-Control Rogue One: A Star Wars Story AT-ACT Available for Pre-Order

Is this the next great must-own Star Wars toy? The new AT-ACT Imperial Walker will debut in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, a cargo transport variant on the classic death machine seen in Star Wars: Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back on the ice planet Hoth. The walker looks pretty close to its AT-AT big brother, with the notable exception of the large orange mid-section, a removable container for, well, we don't really know exactly what kind of cargo just yet.
Hasbro is releasing the walker in toy form on December 1, 2016, and it looks insane. The AT-ACT is mobile, and will walk using a remote control. The remote doesn't just make it advance on those Rebel scum, though, it can also be used to fire the NERF darts from the vehicle's blaster. There will be a lot of yelping pets in December, it seems. The AT-ACT fits 3.75 in figures from Hasbro's immense Star Wars line, and even comes with three: Jyn Erso, a Scout Trooper, and the black Imperial astromech, C2-B5. Two figures fit in the cockpit, and the cargo bay also opens, with a fully removable cargo hold, that can also swing open to reveal additional firepower.
Like many of Hasbro's new offerings, the vehicle also works with the new Hasbro Star Wars Studio FX app, that helps kids (and the young at heart) make their own videos using the toys, creating their own personal Star Wars experience and seeing their imaginations come to life.

All we know about the AT-ACT and how it's used in the Rogue One film so far is that it'll be seen on the planet Scarif, the tropical planet that the Rebels are seen storming in the trailers. As that's also the last DLC for Star Wars: Battlefront, you'll likely see the AT-ACT in that game, as well.
Rogue One: A Star Wars Story hits theaters December 16, 2016 (so you can play with your toy AT-ACT for two weeks before you see it in action in the movie), the first of the new standalone films that will shift focus from the episodic "Skywalker Saga" films. Directed by Gareth Edwards, it tells the story of the small group from the Rebel Alliance that is tasked with stealing the Death Star plans ahead of the original Star Wars film.
