New Star Wars Ornaments Debut at Target

It's November, and that means holiday decorations and items are already out on store shelves (some of them showed up a week or two ago, but we didn't acknowledge them then). At Target, their Star Wars ornament and decoration collection for Christmas is bigger than ever before, with over 25 brand new ornaments and decorations.

There are ornaments from Star Wars: The Force Awakens, like a new cartoony Rey and Finn, there is a Rogue One: A Star Wars Story black-suited Death Trooper, and of course, the old fan favorites like Chewbacca, R2-D2, and Darth Vader are all back with multiple new ornaments, as well. The ornaments run between 7 and 9 dollars, so you probably can't quite collect all of them, but picking your favorites won't break the bank.

In addition to the ornaments, a couple of extra Star Wars Christmas items are on sale at the superstore. New tree-toppers are there for Star Wars fans who don't want to rock the traditional star or angel. Darth Vader and Yoda options are available, and both are battery-operated with LED lights for their lightsabers.

Finally, there are 18" mini tree skirts. They feature Darth Vader and the Death Star, a Stormtrooper (Imperial type) and TIE fighter, and BB-8 with the Rebel/Resistance Phoenix symbol.

Next up for Star Wars in theaters is Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, hitting theaters just before Christmas, on December 16, 2016. The first of Disney/Lucasfilm's new standalone films, it tells the story of the young Rebel Alliance on a mission to steal the plans to the first Death Star.
