The resistance group at the center of the film have been listed for the most part here, aside from two actors who are still unknown at this time. Jyn Erso (Felicity Jones) is listed as a highly skilled soldier and warrior while Captain Cassian Andor (Diego Luna) is an officer in the Rebel alliance. Baze (Jiang Wen) is a freelance assassin and Bodhi (Riz Ahmed) is a rebel soldier. Pao (Unknown) is listed as a fierce warrior alien, and Chirrut (Donnie Yen) is described as a spiritual warrior while Bistan (Unknown) is referred to as a fierce warrior alien as well. In addition to those, Alan Tudyk's role is revealed to be an imperial model K-250 enforcer droid. The description lists him as a former Empire security droid who ends up fighting with the resistance.

Actor Ben Mendelsohn (seen in the first trailer briefly) plays Director Krennic, an Empire Military Director. The preview doesn't shed much light on his character, but he seems to be one of the primary antagonists of the film. Also seen in the images are new ships, such as the Imperial TIE Striker and a Rebel Starfighter, which is described as "a versatile rebel alliance craft that balances speed with the firepower of proton torpedo launchers."

You can view more images from the preview in the gallery. The book will release on January 24th.
