Rogue One: A Star Wars Story Artwork Offers Better Look at Darth Vader

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story will indeed bring a different sort of Star Wars story to the big screen this holiday season. It will be a standalone movie with a darker, grittier, tone than the average Star Wars Episode film - so different, in fact, it may not even have an opening scrawl! But then, that's been the fun of watching Godzilla director Gareth Edwards' vision of the Star Wars universe: it's like we're truly getting a new version of Star Wars that's still set within the all-too-familiar timeline of the original Star Wars movie.
In Rogue One we'll meet Jyn Orso (Felicity Jones), a spirited young badass recruited by the Rebel Alliance to make contact with her father Galen (Mads Mikkelsen) behind Imperial lines. A brilliant scientist, Galen has helped The Empire design an energy weapon of devastating power, for a new battle station known as The Death Star. With a team of ragtag fighters by her side, Jyn sets out to complete her deadly mission, even while Imperial commander Orson Krennic (Ben Mendelsohn) makes moves to ensure the Death Star base becomes a reality.
