Star Wars: Pets React to Rogue One Trailer

Star Wars fandom comes in all shapes and sizes, including the furry best friend variety. It turns out your pets are as enthused about the upcoming Rogue One: A Star Wars Story as you are.

With reaction videos becoming absurdly popular online, and the already immense popularity of videos involving animals doing just about anything, Jimmy Kimmel decided to combine the two and throw some Star Wars in.

The video is a small compilation of various pets enjoying the trailer to Rogue One, though it could be argued that in the last one's case, they just went with the trailer to set the mood. Some adorable bunnies are simply stunned by what they're seeing on screen, and someone needs to get that cat on the couch her own talk show. It should also be noted that the last dog is going to be really tired if his owner doesn't stop playing the trailer on repeat, though it is a novel way to get him to exercise.

You can view all of them in the video above.

Directed by Gareth Edwards, it's the first of the new standalone features from Lucasfilm and Disney, which take place outside the core "Skywalker Saga" of films noted by an Episode number. Rogue One tells the story of the small band of rebels that were tasked with stealing the plans to the first Death Star. The story spins directly off the opening crawl from the original Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope. In that crawl, it read: "Rebel spaceships, striking from a hidden base, have won their first victory against the evil Galactic Empire. During the battle, Rebel spies managed to steal secret plans to the Empire's ultimate weapon, the DEATH STAR, an armored space station with enough power to destroy an entire planet."
