Lauren Cohan Reveals How Audio For The Walking Dead Cliffhanger Was Recorded
04/15/2016 09:33 pm EDT
In the closing moments of The Walking Dead Season 6 finale, we don't get to see who among Rick's group gets clubbed to death by Negan, but we do get to hear their chilling screams. Ever since it aired, fans have been analyzing that audio to see if there are any clues as to who lived and who died.
Based on the audio, many people believe that Glenn is Negan's victim. It's not crystal clear, but it does sound like Glenn says "Mag-" at one point, and that would resemble the dying words ("M- M- Maggie!") his comic book counterpart made when he got face full of Lucille.
"Here's a good piece of intel," Cohan told The Huffington Post. "We shot the scene, and then individually went into a [sound] booth privately to record audio, so I don't know. Nobody knows what anybody else said."
Below, you can listen to the audio or watch scene in question play out.
Season 7 of The Walking Dead will debut next October.
