Lennie James Teases Sexy Moment In The Walking Dead Season 7 Finale

When the cast and crew start teasing finale episodes of The Walking Dead, the words dark, horrific, heavy, and terrifying are usually among them. This time around, the word being used to describe a particular moment in The Walking Dead's Season 7 finale is "sexy."

According to Morgan Jones actor Lennie James, fans may have reason to celebrate while watching the last episode of the AMC series' current season. After acknowledging that fans have not exactly admired the pacing of the first eight episodes, James says there is "certainly more action" in the second half, citing several character introductions as the basis of the first half.

However, it's the finale which has James and a few of his co-stars particularly excited.

"I hope people aren't disappointed by the end, but there's one point in the finale that myself and Melissa [McBride, who plays Carol] were reading as we sat next to each other on a plane, and both of us kind of screeched when we got to this one point," James said. "It's such a sexy moment, on all levels – it's huge, it's just so lovely. And both of us, when we got to the point of reading it, were like: 'Oh my God!' Like kids, excited by it. And to still be at that stage seven years into the show is a testament to the writers. It's about the arrival of a character, and it's lovely – really lovely."

Andrew Lincoln has already shared his reaction to the Season 7 finale. The leading man of The Walking Dead was so excited about a (likely the same) moment that he put the script down, punched the air, and stood up to dance.

With an inevitable war ahead between Rick's group of survivors and Negan's Saviors, one has to wonder if this moment will be a victory for the good guys.
