Hilarious Label On Negan's Cell Door You Missed On The Walking Dead

Subtle details have become a luxury of television and movies in today's age of entertainment. Fans are constantly going back to pick apart episodes and films to find the extra clues and fun teases that producers and writers drop in. Sometimes these extra bits reveal major upcoming plotlines. Sometimes they are just added for fun.

In The Walking Dead's case on Sunday night, an extra detail is falling under the "added for fun" category.

When Eugene Porter approached Sasha's cell door to talk to her about her major upcoming choice (joining Negan or dying, basically), there was a piece of tape across the door with a very Negan phrase written on it. Given the dimly lit nature of the scenes, it is easy to have missed the phrase belittling the unfortunate folks trapped on the other side of the cell door.

"Dips--- Training Center."

It's all part of Negan's manipulating people. The villain in charge of the Saviors and their Sanctuary home has likely tossed more characters than Dwight, Daryl and Sasha into that cell in an effort to mold them into his own. Humiliating and torturing the characters to a point where they are willing to deliver their "I'm Negan," allegiance is all a common part of the villain's efforts.

Belittling the newcomers is also a way of empowering the rest of Negan's frat house, as they either remember their days as a troubled pledge or, at least, consider themselves lucky to have skipped the training days and still calling the Sanctuary home.
