The Walking Dead: Details Of Alexandria's Mystery Spy Revealed

01/06/2017 02:03 pm EST

The Walking Dead's midseason finale ended on a bit of a cliffhanger. Though nothing like that of Season 6 which concealed Negan's victim's identies, the midseason 7 finale left us wondering who was spying on the Alexandria Safe-Zone with a pair of binoculars.

Many fans pegged Dwight as their first choice. Other think it's members of the Oceanside community Tara encountered in Episode 7x06 (Swear).

New spoiler-y details about the character's identity may have been revealed from a typically reliable source. If you wish to learn the character's identity spoiler-free, stop here!

According to the Spoiling Dead Fans, the character creeping on Rick, Aaron, and Alexandria is one we have not seen before. The spoiler-seekers are referring to them as the "Garbage Pail Kids." According to their photos and sources, the group is another new batch of characters coming to the AMC series when it returns -- in addition to the already introduced in the last 16 episodes Saviors, Kingdom, Hilltop, and Oceanside groups.

The woman checking out Alexandria from a distance is going to be played by Sabrina Gennarino who you may have seen recently in the Jack Reacher sequel. Rumor has it, her name will be Tamiel and Tamiel will be second in charge among the Garbage Pail Kids.

Keeping the trend of unique names going (see: Negan, Arat, or Ezekiel), the leader of this new small group is said to be named Yadis, played by Pollyana McIntosh. This is said to have been the role filled by the summer's casting call for a character named "Brion," a fake name to keep fans off of the scent.

As the rumor goes, the group will be introduced in the midseason premiere, putting a wrench in the plan to march Rick over to the Kingdom for an introduction to King Ezekiel. There is no word on whether or not the group will serve as friend, foe, or another disposable batch of enemies like the Wolves in the rumors. Given the fact that Rick and his people already have their hands full, we can only hope another obstacle isn't popping up.

None of the word here is official just yet, so take it all with a grain of salt. Make sure you give the other grain to Negan.
