The Walking Dead: Emotional March To War Fan-Made Video Is A Must-Watch

Throughout The Walking Dead's off-season, fans of the AMC series have to just survive somehow. The somehow means reading interviews about how action-packed the new episodes will be, clamoring over the first new clip of a zombie, and now watching a fan-made video showcasing Rick's journey to the war ahead.

A new fan-made video, featured above, packs footage from several seasons of The Walking Dead into an emotional and intense summary of Season 7's events.

Brace yourself for emotions upon watching, though. None will hit you harder than the fan-made cut's portrayal of Rick's recollection of Glenn saving him at "the start" and how he "couldn't save him."

The most recent 16-episode run saw Rick Grimes and his survivors at Alexandria bullied, beaten, and killed as Negan decided he would lay claim to their resources. However, Rick Grimes was not ready to roll over and admit defeat.

With Season 8 on the horizon, Rick Grimes, his community, and the communities surrounding them are ready to go to war with the Saviors. The new video showcases the March to War, as it has been portrayed on the AMC series.

March to War is the name of an arc in Robert Kirkman's The Walking Dead comics which was never referenced on the TV series. However, producers and writers have already refered to the coming batch of episodes in Season 8, starting with Episode 100, as "All Out War." This is the title of the story arc which directly followed March to War in the comics and saw Rick Grimes leading his army head to head against Negan's.
