The Walking Dead: One Doctor Is Showing Negan Some Love With His Prosthesis

When it comes to The Walking Dead, there are few characters as controversial as Negan. The character battered his way into the hit AMC drama at the end of season six, leaving fans breathless over one of cable's most brutal cliffhangers to date. Negan then continued his terrifying reign during The Walking Dead's seventh season, and the leader of the Saviors is poised to come out swinging in season eight. Fans of the show seem to fall two ways with Negan, either loving or hating him for what he has done to their favorite TV show. Plenty of fans have gone so far as to style themselves after Negan by donning leather jackets and red scarves.

But, for one doctor, he has truly gone the extra mile when it comes to showing Negan some love.

Over on Reddit, one photo from user @Caesar100 has got fans of The Walking Dead in a tizzy. The netizen recently shared a picture he was sent from his uncle, and the image is of the man's prosthesis doctor. Clearly, the medical professional has got a sense of humor.

In the picture, fans can see the older doctor standing on one leg while he holds out his other leg's prosthesis for all to see. However, the attachment is not what one may expect. Instead, the doctor made a custom prosthesis for his leg which looks like Negan's bat Lucille. From the knee down, the prosthesis is a wooden baseball bat with a rubbed-cap end. And, towards the bottom, some (hopefully fake) barbed wire is seen wrapped around its body.

Of course, Reddit has been liberal with its puns regarding the doctor's nod to Negan. Jokes about 'Knee-gan,' 'Luc-heel,' and more are being tossed around liberally. But, for most netizens, they are stoked to see the doctor tying his work with a bit of play.
