The Walking Dead: Eugene Returns To Alexandria In Season 7 Finale Photos

Eugene's allegiance will be tested more than ever before in The Walking Dead's Season 7 finale.

For the first time since being taken hostage by Negan in the midseason 7 finale, Eugene Porter will be making a return trip to Alexandria with a very angry Negan. After spending weeks working with the Saviors and fortifying their undead defense system, Eugene has become a key part of the Saviors inner workings. Plus, he has an endless supply of pickles to keep him happy.

Negan, however, is not very happy. As pointed out in the penultimate episode of Season 7 in Sunday night's Something They Need episode, the villain revealed that "a little birdie" told him that Rick is up to no good. This indicates Negan's awareness of Rick rise and rally against the Saviors. Certainly, this will not go over well when Negan makes a trip to Alexandria to speak with Rick and the fine people calling the community home.

A gunfight may or may not ensue, as Rick's group is now heavily armed with the weaponry provided to them involuntarily by Oceanside.

Where Eugene's true alleigance stands will be determined in these moments. Based on the photos from Episode 7x16, it appears Eugene might be spewing out orders to the people of Alexandria with a mega phone. What's up with that, Eugene?

The Season 7 finale is called, "The First Day Of The Rest Of Your Lives." It is a stark contrast from the Season 7 premiere's, "The Day Will Come When You Won't Be" title, referencing Dr. Jenner ominously telling Rick Grimes a day will come where he won't be grateful to be alive.
