The Walking Dead Spoiler: One Of Negan's Victims Rumored To Return

01/24/2017 12:50 pm EST

Potentially major spoilers for The Walking Dead follow.

When Negan was introduced on The Walking Dead, he made a bigger impact on the show than anyone before him. No one felt that impact more than Abraham Ford and Glenn Rhee. The two characters both had their heads bashed in to start Season 7. They're definitely dead with no chance of even becoming a zombie.

However, a new rumor from The Spoiling Dead Fans suggests that one of the two characters will be appearing on The Walking Dead again. It's a potentially major spoiler you can't unread. Abort mission here if you wish to keep the surprise in tact.

According to the rumor, it will be Abraham Ford who makes an appearance in the Season 7 finale of The Walking Dead in early April.

The details of the return of Michael Cudlitz follow a storyline involving his love interest Sasha. We will leave the details out of this particular story but Abraham's return is said to be in a flashback sequence or dream sequence stemming from Sasha's perspective.

Whether or not the rumor turns out to be true will be seen in the 99th episode of The Walking Dead. It would not be the first time a beloved main character came back for a momentary flashback or hallucination. Hershel Greene was seen in a flashback sequence at the prison, long after it had been destroyed and his head removed. Shane Walsh also made a brief appearance in Season 3 when Rick Grimes was attacking the Governor's Woodbury community.

Cameo appearances by any fallen characters are always welcome on The Walking Dead.
