The Walking Dead: Epic Season 8 All Out War Poster Themed To Star Wars: The Last Jedi

The Walking Dead's cast and crew are in the midst of enjoying their production off-season but the social media team are hard at work all year round.

Following Friday's release of the first poster and trailer for Star Wars: The Last Jedi, the creative bunch behind the AMC's The Walking Dead Twitter account made a poster of their own. While the Star Wars poster sees Rey hoisting a lightsaber over her head, splitting an image of Kylo Ren and Luke Skywalker, the poster for The Walking Dead Season 8 sees Rick Grimes replacing Rey as Maggie and Negan's faces are split above him.

Below the image, shaded in red to reflect the look of the Star Wars poster, "Walking Dead: All Out War" is seen at the bottom. The tease of Season 8's fall release completes the epic new tease which will certainly become the background on a bunch of iPhones before the day is over.

Check it out in the tweet embedded below.

"Who's ready for The Walking Dead Season 8?" the tweet asks. Well, after this image, the answer is "everyone!"

Season 8 of The Walking Dead will pick up where Season 7 left off. Rick's group which now consists of the Kingdom and the Hilltop in addition to the Alexandria residents will be headed to war with Negan and his Saviors. Whether or not the junkyard gang and Jadis will remain a factor is to be seen.

Heading into the All Out War storyline on television, fans of the AMC series shouldn't expect Negan to go anywhere if the show continues to follow its source material as accurately as it has in recent years.
