The Walking Dead: Updated Character Status List Halfway Through Season 7

Goodbyes are never easy with The Walking Dead. Actually, they often are, when people like Nicholas or Pete Anderson die, but for the most part we remember our beloved survivors like Glenn.

In fact, we've said "goodbye" to significantly more beloved characters on the AMC series than we might recall. A new graphic, showcasing the show's main characters and their alive-or-dead status really drills in the reminder of how ruthless The Walking Dead can be.

In the photo below, characters whose hearts are still beating are shown in black and white while the characters who have succumb to the zombie apocalypse are marked with a red filter. Unfortunately on the list in red are Glenn and Abraham , who both died in The Walking Dead Season 7 premiere, but also faces like Shane Walsh, Hershel, Dale, Axel, and Noah who may sometimes be overlooked years after their death.

Also featured on the new graphic are certain characters whose fates are unknown, such as Morales who ventured off on his own in Season 1. Such characters are marked with a blue filter in the new graphic.

Check it out:

With the group at the Alexandria Safe-Zone rallying to take on Negan in the second half of The Walking Dead Season 7, the safe bet is on more faces to be shaded with red before Season 7 comes to a close.

Newcomers to the series featured on this graphic include the characters of the Kingdom and Oceanside, one of which will be in Rick's sights as an ally for the war ahead. The Oceanside bunch, however, is being kept a secret by Tara, at least for the time being. Whether or not they become a factor later (as they did in the comics), can only be told by time.
