The Walking Dead: Is Sasha Going To Die?

03/19/2017 10:03 pm EDT

WARNING: Major Spoilers ahead from the latest episode of The Walking Dead, 'The Other Side'!

Well, there she goes. After Sasha and Rosita came up with a half-baked scheme to take out Negan together, the former went into the Sanctuary on her own. Now, armed with nothing but a map and a rifle, Sasha will attempt to end the life of The Walking Dead's biggest villain.

The question is, will she succeed?

To be honest, it's not very likely.

From a purely logistical standpoint, Sasha has too many obstacles to work through in order to get to Negan. She's in a place she's never been, she has no allies, and there are thousands of people who would be happy to kill her. Aside from the map that Jesus gave her, Sasha doesn't have much help. The difficulty of the mission alone is enough to make one think Sasha won't survive.

On top of that, you have to look at the impact this mission will have on the show as a whole. Sure, people hate Negan, but would killing him now be a good thing?

There is so much story the show can tell with Negan as a villain, and the war hasn't even begun yet. Killing the guy now would almost seem like a waste. If Negan's gone, the show is probably over.

Nobody wants that, right?

Sasha could make it out alive, but don't expect her to complete her mission.
