The Walking Dead's Austin Nichols Cast In Bates Motel

Things didn't end well for Austin Nichols last year. In The Walking Dead season 7 midseason finale, Negan thought that Nichols' character Spencer didn't have any guts. Sadly for Spencer, Negan decided to get a definitive answer on if Spencer had guts or not, which cost Nichols his spot on the show.
However, things are looking up for Nichols in 2017. According to Deadline, Nichols has been cast in a recurring role on the fifth season of Bates Motel. Nichols will be playing a mysterious and charismatic newcomer to White Pine Bay named Sam Loomis.
