Tony Danza Reacts To Being Featured On The Walking Dead

The Walking Dead's Season 7 has had some unexpected moments but seeing Tony Danza's Who's The Boss series open up the dark and grim Episode 7x03 (The Cell) was a pleasant change of tone.

Apparently, Negan and the Saviors (or maybe just Dwight) have good taste in classic television. As it turns out, the star of Who's The Boss had his eye on the AMC series for his appearance a a couple of months ago.

Danza took to Twitter, tagging his co-star Judith Light who also appeared in The Cell, and joked, "We survived the apocalypse." He went on to thank the cast and crew of The Walking Dead, as well as Norman Reedus -- who endured quite a test of acting, portraying a broken down and humiliated Daryl Dixon in his cell for the episode's entire hour -- by tagging them in his tweet with a screenshot.

The Walking Dead continues to make interesting tonal choices throughout Season 7, so we'll have to wait and see if Dwight's video library extends beyond 80's TV shows.

As for whether or not Danza will earn himself a zombie cameo in the upcoming eighth season which will begin shooting this spring and debut in the Fall of 2017, we can only hold out hope at this point. Either way, the show remains on top of cable with over 10 million people watching its lowest rated hour of Season 7, and over 12 million tuning in for the Danza-featured Episode 7x03 on November 6, 2016.
