In the world of TV reboots and revivals, this is one that everyone can probably get behind. The Animaniacs, from the brilliant mind of Steven Spielberg, is coming back to television.

According to IndieWire, Warner Bros. has been working with Spielberg's production company, Amblin Television, to bring the fan-favorite cartoon out of the 1990s history books. The report states that Spielberg is also expected to be working on the project as well.

The talks came about after the original series premiered on Netflix last year, receiving another surge in its popularity. New fans, that may not have been around the first time, have been discovering the magic of the classic cartoon.

These talks don't mean that something is definitely happening, and there is no TV home set for the potential reboot yet. However, these talks are definitely a great first step towards bringing the Animaniacs back around.

TV reboots and revivals have been immensly popular over the last few years, with many shows coming back for another round. Both Full House and Gilmore Girls have enjoyed second life on Netflix, while networks have also found a way to resurrect Prison Break, 24, Roseanne, and many others.

Hopefully, this trend means that Animaniacs will have a chance at a successful reboot. Fans adored the series, which ran from 1993-1998, as well as the ever-popular spin-off, Pinky and the Brain.

If we're lucky, we could be seeing Yakko, Wakko, and Dot back on TV screens in the very near future.
