Archie Performs With Josie And The Pussycats In Riverdale Season Finale Clip

The CW has released the first sneak peek from this Thursday's season finale of Riverdale.

It features Archie, Veronica, and Josie & The Pussycats coming together on stage at the town jubilee to perform an original song, "Share it With You."

This a surprising turn of events. Josie hasn't been Archie's biggest supporter. When the aspiring musician offered to write songs for her band, knowing that she is the more talented singer, Josie scoffed at the offer, telling him he doesn't understand the band's brand that she has carefully cultivated. She took great pleasure in seeing Archie suffer a bad case of stage fright while trying out for the school's talent show. She prevented Valerie, Archie then girlfriend, to sing a duet with him.

So, what's her deal? "When it comes to Archie, it is a blow to her ego because not only is he attractive," Ashleigh Murray, the 21-year-old actress portraying the fierce and competitive lead singer of Josie & The Pussycats, told StarNews, "he actually is talented."

Archie (KJ Apa) and Veronica (Camila Mendes) continue to grow closer. Betty (Lili Reinhart) is tired of her family acting as if nothing has happened and confronts her mother. Jughead (Cole Sprouse) finds himself in an unexpected situation, leaving Archie and the gang scrambling. Hermione (Marisol Nichols) makes Fred (Luke Perry) an offer that seems too good to be true. Meanwhile, the truth about Blossom's family business is revealed leaving Cheryl (Madelain Petsch) to take matters into her own hands. Madchen Amick and Ashleigh Murray also star.

Lee Toland Krieger directed the episode written by Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa.

Riverdale stars KJ Apa as Archie, Cole Sprouse as Jughead, Lili Reinhart as Betty Cooper, Camilla Mendes as Veronica Lodge, and Luke Perry as Archie's father Fred Andrews, among others. The series' showrunner is Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, Archie Entertainment's Chief Creative Officer and the writer of Afterlife With Archie, the publisher's wildly popular zombie series.
