Ducktales Sneak Peek Released At Comic-Con

Soon, audiences young and old will be able to see Disney's reboot of DuckTales, when the series officially premieres on DisneyXD. But now, fans can get a look at a scene from the series premiere, thanks to a new sneak peek that was unveiled during the show's San Diego Comic-Con panel.

The clip, which you can watch above, follows Scrooge McDuck (Doctor Who and Jessica Jones' David Tennant) and LaunchPad McQuack (Saturday Night Live's Beck Bennett) embarking on an undersea expedition. Huey (Powerless' Danny Pudi), Dewey (Parks and Recreation's Ben Schwartz), Louie (Saturday Night Live's Bobby Moynihan), and Webby (Steven Universe's Kate Miccuci) accompany them, and quickly realize they have drastically different ideas of how the adventure's travels should go.

The clip is part of the show's series premiere event, entitled 'DuckTales: Woo-oo!'. The episode will air on Disney XD on August 12th, 2017.

Based on the Emmy Award-winning series treasured by a generation of viewers, Disney XD's animated comedy-adventure series "DuckTales" chronicles the high-flying adventures of Duckburg's most famous trillionaire Scrooge McDuck, his mischief-making triplet grandnephews, Huey, Dewey and Louie, temperamental nephew Donald Duck and the trusted McDuck Manor team: big-hearted, fearless chauffer/pilot Launchpad McQuack, no-nonsense housekeeper Mrs. Beakley and Mrs. Beakley's granddaughter, Webby Vanderquack, resident adventurer and the triplet's newfound fierce friend.

The series is executive-produced by Matt Youngberg with Francisco Angones serving as co-producer/story editor. David Tennant stars as Scrooge McDuck; Danny Pudi, Ben Schwartz and Bobby Moynihan as the voices of Huey, Dewey and Louie, respectively; Kate Micucci as Webby Vanderquack; Beck Bennett as Launchpad McQuack and Toks Olagundoye as Mrs. Beakley. Lin-Manuel Miranda will also star as Fenton Crackshell-Cabrera.

DuckTales will premiere on August 12th, 2017 on Disney XD.
