The Timeless trio is finally back in business!
NBC's time-travelling series was canceled earlier this spring however, after a very loud outcry from the show's fans, the network decided to reverse the decision, renewing Timeless for a second season. Now, months after the unprecedented announcement, the first look at the new installment has arrived!
TVLine has released the first photo from the Timeless Season 2 premiere, and the fan-favorite trio will be heading back to World War I. The episode is aptly-titled, "The War to End All Wars."
As you can see from Lucy, Rufus and Wyatt's outfits in the image above, they seem to be prepared for whatever the Great War can throw at them. Sadly, as history has already taught us, nothing can really ever prepare you for the horrors of war.
In addition to the journey into the wars of yesteryear, the Timeless premiere will introduce audiences to a brand new character. Nicholas Keynes (Michael Rady) is an American soldier fighting in WWI. He meets up with the team after Emma (Annie Wersching) and Carol (Susanna Thompson) attempt to care for his injuries at a farmhouse near the battlefield.
As of now, there is now official release date for the second season of Timeless, but creators Eric Kripke and Shawn Ryan have hinted that it will arrive sometime in the spring or summer.
