The Lego Movie sequel is still a ways off, but fans will be getting something to tide them over thanks to Cartoon Network's new Unikitty animated series.

Unikitty is the fan favorite from the original film played by Alison Brie and will be at the center of the new cartoon (via Deadline). The series will follow Unikitty's quest to build the happiest kingdom ever and features a talented cast that includes Tara Strong, Grey Griffin, Roger Craig Smith, Kate Micucci, Eric Bauza, and H. Michael Croner. You can view the show's official description below.

As ruler of the kingdom, Unikitty has busy days full of royal responsibilities. Unikitty is most interested in making sure everyone is happy and ridding the kingdom of negativity, but don't misunderstand her optimism – she is one kitty not to be crossed. While she may be full of boundless energy and creativity, Unikitty is a force to be reckoned with if anyone gets in the way of spreading her positive vibes, especially if anyone makes her little brother and best friend, Puppycorn, sad. Also living in the castle are Dr. Fox, the resident scientist, and Unikitty's trusty bodyguard, Hawkodile. Through it all, Unikitty and her friends make sure that every day is the happiest and most creative ever.

Executive producers include Dan Lin, Phil Lord, Christopher Miller, Roy Lee, Jill Wilfert, and Sam Register. Aaron Horvath will be serving as supervising producer and Edward Skudder and Lynn Wang will be producing.

No release date has been announced for Unikitty, but you can purchase LEGO's most recent hit the LEGO Batman Movie in stores now.

In the irreverent spirit of fun that made The LEGO Movie a worldwide phenomenon, the self-described leading man of that ensemble - LEGO Batman - stars in his own big-screen adventure: The LEGO Batman Movie. But there are big changes brewing in Gotham, and if he wants to save the city from The Joker's hostile takeover, Batman may have to drop the lone vigilante thing, try to work with others and maybe, just maybe, learn to lighten up.

Will Arnett reprises his starring role from The LEGO Movie as the voice of LEGO Batman, aka Bruce Wayne. Zach Galifianakis (Hangover films) stars as The Joker; Michael Cera (TV's Arrested Development) as the orphan Dick Grayson; Rosario Dawson (TV's Daredevil) as Barbara Gordon; and Ralph Fiennes (Harry Potter films) as Alfred.

There will be three Blu-Ray Combo Packs available for purchase, including both a 3D and a Ultra HD version. These home releases will feature a myriad of special features, including four LEGO Batman animated shorts, as well as a The LEGO Ninjago Movie short called "The Master".

The Blu-Ray Combo Packs will also feature director and crew commentary, several of the film's trailers, and five social promos.
