Alexa Bliss Debuting Cosplay Inspired Ring Gear At WrestleMania

Smackdown Live Women's Champion Alexa Bliss will be defending her title tomorrow night at WrestleMania, but she doesn't just face one opponent, but the entire Smackdown women's roster. While it's up in the air if she comes out retaining her title, she has assured fans that all eyes will be on her thanks to her new Cosplay inspired ring gear.

Bliss has incorporated multiple pop culture and comic properties into her ring gear, including the Harley Quinn inspired outfit she wore when she first moved to the Smackdown Live roster. In a recent interview with IGN, Bliss teased a new look for WrestleMania saying "Yes. I'm very excited too because I've been doing a lot of cosplaying, and I have a little bit of something that I'm doing for WrestleMania, another character that I'm trying to, you know, put my spin on and portray. I think it's gonna be a lot of fun, and hopefully, it's noticed."

In addition to Harley, Bliss has worn looks themed after Supergirl, Iron Man, and Freddy Krueger, a fan favorite ensemble to be sure. Bliss explained where it started. "So that was actually when I was paired with Blake and Murphy at NXT - it all started with the Iron Man gear that we did, the Iron Man-inspired gear, teh" said Bliss. "Murphy's idea was, hey, let's do Iron Man. And then when we came out with Iron Man gear, it was so much fun, and I was like, "Okay, what else can we do!?" We all kept throwing out ideas, and we did Freddy Krueger as a group. We had some other stuff in the works, like Suicide Squad-ish, but then when we were all separated when I was drafted. I was talking to Murphy and he was like, "Well, why don't you still do the Harley Quinn look that you wanted to do?" And I said, "Oh, I don't know. I don't know if I can do that…" He told me, "No, you should totally do it," and he helped me with the pose. He actually helped me with this pose that I now use for the title, and I used with the tutu, and it's been a lot of fun."

Bliss also said there are some unused designs that might show up the future. "Iron Man might come back at some point, and I've done Supergirl at Elimination Chamber. What else have I done? I have a couple that I haven't used yet. I have like three or four that I haven't used yet, that I'm just waiting for certain accessory pieces to kind of tie it all in together."

WrestleMania 33 kicks off this Sunday on the WWE Network.
