Numerous insider sources are reporting that former WWE Diva's Champion, Paige (real name Saraya-Jade Bevis) has quit the company this week, despite being contracted for three more years.
WrestlingInc is also reporting that Paige has retained legal council to defend herself against WWE. Paige is reportedly not returning to WWE following her 30-day wellness policy suspension. MMA source Front Row Brian, who has revealed several WWE scoops in the past, backed up The Observer report on Paige hiring a lawyer.
Since revealing her relationship with Alberto Del Rio, who is also serving a month-long suspension, there has been a certain amount of heat surrounding Paige, which is leading the speculation that the inaugural NXT Women's Champion will not be returning to the company.
Speaking of Del Rio, he has announced he will be holding a press conference in Mexico City today concerning his WWE future. Having signed only a year-long agreement with the company, we could see Del Rio's departure from WWE anytime today.
Update: Alberto Del Rio has been released from WWE as of today.
