WWE: Dave Bautista Fires Back On "Complete Waste" Twitter Comment

Rule of thumb going forward. If you plan on calling something a complete waste, you better be able to back it up with facts, and that goes double for former WWE superstar Dave Bautista.

The accomplished WWE talent, who's made a second career for himself in Hollywood since he originally left the company, took a fan to task over comments he made about Bautista's last run with the company. The original comment said "3 years ago on this day, Batista returned to #WWE. Sadly, went down as a complete waste. Hope @DaveBautista returns some day for one more run." Turns out Bautista took issue with that complete waste portion and took to Twitter to defend himself a bit.

"Complete waste? I put your hero @WWEDanielBryan over at Mania and fought to keep Evokution together to put over The Shield. You're welcome!"

It's important to note that Bautista has also been critical of his second run with the company, but that doesn't mean it was all for nothing. He managed to take a bad situation and make some significant contributions to other superstars, and that cannot be marginalized as a "complete waste." What is certain is that many fans would indeed like to see him make another run with WWE, as that last run wasn't the nice bookend it was meant to be.

The film marks the return of the original Guardians, including Chris Pratt (Jurassic World) as Peter Quill/Star-Lord; Zoe Saldana (Star Trek Into Darkness) as Gamora; Dave Bautista (Spectre) as Drax; Vin Diesel (Furious 7) as the voice of Groot; Bradley Cooper (American Sniper) as the voice of Rocket; Michael Rooker (Jumper) as Yondu; Karen Gillan (The Big Short) as Nebula; and Sean Gunn (Gilmore Girls) as Kraglin.
