WWE: John Cena Takes A Shot At Roman Reigns On Twitter

WWE Univeral Champion Kevin Owens loves to go at fans both on Twitter and at live events. Fans witnessed a bit of this at a recent WWE Live show, where he responded to the audience by describing what he makes from his merchandise profits.

The whole thing caught fire on social media since the person he had in a headlock at the time was trying to hide the fact that he was laughing. That person happened to be the always divisive but still insanely popular Roman Reigns. He can be seen in the video covering his face as Owens continues to list dollar figures off the top of his head, and when it was pointed out on social media Roman tweeted "I was laughing, at KO's merch check!!😂 I made more splitting with The Shield. Imagine what it is now! 🤑 #AhYessir"

That evidently did not sit well with recently returned WWE superstar John Cena, a man who is also ridiculously popular yet still polarizing to fans (via John Cena). Cena tweeted a video of him powerlifting at the gym and chided Roman for talking about Owen's merchandising profits to boot.

"While @WWERomanReigns was making fun of what people earn I was at @GeorgiaTechFB to #EarnTheDay #recognize"

When you make as much as Cena does, which is evidently around the $9 million mark, you don't have to worry so much about merchandise sales. To be fair, it helps that he also sells the most merchandise in the entire company, so there's that.
