Seth Rollins Snaps on Rey Mysterio on WWE Raw, Viciously Attacks His Eye

Seth Rollins had a busy episode of Monday Night Raw this week. The show opened with his fiancee Becky Lynch formally announcing that the couple were expecting their first child together, much to the delight of the WWE locker room and the fans watching along at home. But when Rollins first appeared on camera for a backstage interview, he looked oddly disheveled. He ignored Rey Mysterio's attempt at a handshake, then slowly made his way out to the ring for a tag team match that also involved Murphy and Aleister Black. Rollins stood on the apron throughout the match without making any sort of movement, forcing Murphy to fight the match on his own. Suddenly, just as Mysterio was about to hit a 619, Rollins snapped and hurled Mysterio out of the ring (which caused a disqualification for unknown reasons)
Rollins then jabbed one of his fingers in Mysterio's eyes, causing him to cry out in pain. In a frenzy Rollins took the former world champion up against the steel steps and drove his right eye into one of the corners.
Mysterio had to be unmasked by a team of doctors and helped to the back. Rollins, having snapped out of whatever trance he was in, tried to apologize only for Black and Murphy to start brawling again.
Mysterio's eye injury comes just one night after he was tossed off the roof of WWE Headquarters during the Money in the Bank Ladder Match (he got better).
