Roman Reigns Becomes New US Champion At Clash of Champions

You can't keep a big dog down.

Roman Reigns defeated Rusev to become the new United States Championship. With this win, Reigns becomes a triple crown champion. There were moments that Rusev's wife and business associate Lana could have cost Roman the match, but her last interference got her thrown out of the match, which gave Roman the advantage.

Roman was able to land a spear to Rusev to get the pinfall, but moments before it looked as though he was going to tap to Rusev's submission manuever. Reigns powered out and was actually able to lift Rusev off of him. It was an impressive feat that shocked even Rusev.

You can call this the official start to Roman Reign's road to redemption.
