Marvel Teases "Project Gamma" South by Southwest Reveal

by Russ Burlingame

In case the mysterious "counting to 52" ads and the Marvel #1 announcement weren't enough to be on the look out for next week, Marvel teased today that something called "Project: Gamma" will make its debut at the South by Southwest Interactive Festival in Austin.

Coming on Sunday, it's not yet clear whether the three disparate ad campaigns are for different products and services or just different ways of approaching the same thing.

Last year at SXSW Interactive, Marvel unveiled their Marvel Infinite digital comics and their AR app. Neither has been used as frequently or effectively as they could be this year, but both are getting a workout recently, with "hidden letter columns" in Superior Spider-Man and a free, digital-only Guardians of the Galaxy comic launching this week.
