AMC Pranks New Yorkers With Walkers To Celebrate Walking Dead Return

returns on Sunday night, and AMC decided to prank some unsuspecting New Yorkers in order to celebrate the event. In a hidden camera prank, AMC applied zombie make-up to a bunch of actors. The actors were then placed in a drainage area under a sidewalk grate on the streets of New York. As people walked by on their daily commute, the walkers would reach up through the grates, pushing out small panels that allowed their hands to be seen. After frightening a couple of adults, a cute, little girl wanders up and starts staring down the grate. However, it looks like the zombie actors wisely decided not to reach up and scare her, as it might have scarred her for life.
