Ant-Man Revisited
Today marks the first day of filming on the long-awaited sequel to Ant-Man. Marvel Studios confirmed production on Ant-Man and the Wasp is underway, and it is possible Atwell could take part in the feature. The first Ant-Man movie began with a flashback sequence that featured Peggy with Hank Pym back in the day, so the sequel might nod back to that era as it continues to explore the original hero's past.

Back in July, fans were informed of an important tidbit regarding Captain Marvel. The female-led superhero film will see Brie Larson suit up as Carol Danvers, and the feature will be set squarely in the 1990s. Thanks to its backdated setting, Captain Marvel has ever opportunity to bring back Peggy as she'd still be alive during the feature. Captain Marvel is also set to rope in Samuel L. Jackson's Nick Fury, so fans are keen to see if the original SHIELD director interact with her predecessor.

Peggy has been ushered into the MCU for various reasons, but Avengers: Infinity War could use the heroine for one heart-wrenching purpose.
Much like how Scarlet Witch used Peggy against Captain America in Age of Ultron, Thanos could do the same with Peggy in the third Avengers film. The Mad Titan will be looking for ways to break Earth's Mightiest Heroes, and Steve would combust if Peggy were revived by an Infinity Gem. The resurrection would hit Captain America hard in the wake of Peggy's death, but there is also a chance such a return could be done corporeally. Should Steve die in the third Avengers film, it wouldn't be strange for the hero to pass away thinking about his lost love, and fans would be left in tears over the sob-worthy hallucination.
