The second season of Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. ended on quite a cliff hanger, with Agent Jemma Simmons (played by Elizabeth Henstridge) being consumed by a Kree monolith.
Speaking to TV Line, Henstridge hinted at what this will mean for her character and the show in Season 3.
"Were going to find out what happened to Simmons pretty quickly" she said. "She's definitely changed by the experience, and what's happened to her is going to impact the season — kind of as a theme or something like that."
"I didn't think that they'd got that far with it, honestly…It will be interesting to see if her views on Inhumans have changed at all, and how that alters her relationships with the other people."
Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 3 premieres Sept. 29 on ABC.
