Bruce Campbell Announces a Doctor Who Special With Him as The Doctor

Bruce Campbell took to his facebook and twitter accounts today for a special announcement: He'll be playing The Doctor in a Doctor Who Christmas special this year! With a poster announcing the special, Campbell is dressed in a TARDIS blue suit, with a TARDIS pin on it.
"After more than 50 years adventuring through time, space, and the United Kingdom... The Doctor is finally coming to America," it reads, with both BBC America and Syfy logos on it.
Of course, check the date, yeah, this is probably all a joke. "I had to wait until today, but I'm super excited to announce this!" he even wrote, thus pointing out the day. There'd be no reason for the special to run on two American networks simultaneously (oh, and neither network has said anything on the subject), and even the phrasing of "finally coming to America" is considerably off, as many Doctors have had episodes and story arcs in the US.
Still, it could be pretty groovy, right?
