Elizabeth Banks' Rita Repulsa in the upcoming Power Rangers movie took some fans aback with its massive difference from original Rita look from the television series, but check this design out.

Back in 2013 artist, Matt Frank was commissioned to do up some concept art when screenwriter Max Landis was involved. Although Frank had other obligations and couldn't do the full roster of characters, he was able to conjure up this version of Rita.

Pretty interesting, huh? It's definitely more of something resembling Baba Yaga, or even the Skeksis from Jim Henson's The Dark Crystal. But even with those deviations, you still have Rita donning her robe, crazy neck piece, and her staff echoes her classic costume.

Knowing this, would you fans have preferred this or something to what Banks is sporting with her scale armor and ornate wand?

Lionsgate's Power Rangers comes to theaters March 24, 2017.
