Colbert Tries Out a "Half Wolverine" Beard For The Late Show Look

The final episode of Comedy Central's The Colbert Report aired last December and since then Stephen Colbert has been preparing for his next gig, replacing David Letterman as the host of CBS' The Late Show.

Because he hasn't had to show his face on camera in a long time he decided to grow a Santa Claus-like beard. With his new show debuting in the fall he felt it was time to cut it off. In the video below you'll see Stephen slowly widdle down his beard into several appealing options, like the "Half Wolverine."

The Late Show with Stephen Colbert will make its debut on Tuesday, September 8, 2015.
