D&D Is Getting A Lord Of The Rings Edition
03/19/2016 02:08 pm EDT
For those Tolkien fans who always wanted more Lord of the Rings in their Dungeons & Dragon's sessions, it turns out Cubicle 7 has received your emails.
Cubicle 7, makers of The One Ring and Doctor Who roleplaying games, have teamed up with Sophisticated Games to make a Lord of the Rings and Hobbit-themed setting that is compatible with the current edition of D&D. Dominic McDowall, CEO of Cubicle 7, had this to say about the project.
"We're all very excited to be building on the success of The One Ring Roleplaying Game and bringing Middle-earth to D&D® players. Uniting two things very close to the hearts of gamers, me included, is very cool – I can't wait for the summer."
While the release date is set for this Summer, we will have to wait for more details on what the supplement will contain.
