DC's Legends Of Tomorrow Episode 5: Fail-Safe

A new episode of DC's Legends of Tomorrow, titled "Fail-Safe," airs tonight on The CW!

"Professor Stein has been captured," begins executive producer Phil Klemmer in the featurette. "Valentina Vostok realizes that he's the key to creating Soviet Firestorm. Ray and Rory have also been captured and tossed into a Russian gulag. We know Mick Rory has a lot of experience behind prison, but for Ray this is his first time incarcerated. And so they find themselves as this sort of odd couple, prison pairing. Rory tries to show Ray the ropes of trying to survive, but of course, Ray is an irrepressible optimist and a do-gooder, and probably gets the crap beat out of him."

After some of the Legends are captured and thrown into a Russian gulag during the height of the Cold War of 1986, Snart (Wentworth Miller) leads the team in an elaborate escape plan to free their comrades. However, Rip (Arthur Darvill) gives Sara (Caity Lotz) a secret side mission that could prove not only to be a liability, but fatal to the team.

Dermott Downs directed the episode written by Beth Schwartz and Grainne Godfree.

"Fail-Safe" of DC's Legends of Tomorrow will air Thursday, February 18 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on The CW.
