Scrooge McDuck is making his long-awaited return to animation in Disney XD's new DuckTales series, and the show will be making its first appearance at San Diego Comic-Con.

The production team decided they just couldn't leave us high and dry without anything to look at, though, and so they saw fit to release a new teaser image. The image is done in the silhouette of Scrooge McDuck, and stars the rest of the cast, including his grandnephews Huey, Dewey, and Louie, as well as fan-favorite Donald Duck.

If you like the art style, then you'll probably love the look of the show, as it was created by the same art production team. You'll be able to grab a copy of it for yourself at the show, as it will be featured on the back of the DuckTales Cinestory Volume 1 comic. DuckTales Cinestory Vol 1 is a collectible edition comic that retells the first five episodes of the original DuckTales, and you can grab it at the convention starting today.

If you can't make it to the show, you can buy it starting on Tuesday, September 27th.

The new DuckTales will be Executive Produced by Matt Youngberg (Ben 10: Omniverse), Co-Produced by Francisco Angones (Wander Over Yonder) and Art Directed by Sean Jimenez (Gravity Falls). The show isn't set to debut on Disney XD until 2017, but hopefully, we'll see some footage at Comic-Con. You can view the entire teaser image in the gallery.
