Doctor Strange Director Doing Early Scouting In New York City

Doctor Strange director Scott Derrickson visited New York City earlier this week to scout locations for the upcoming Marvel Studios film.
As Derrickson posted on his Twitter account earlier, he and the film's crew surveyed the various locales that New York City could offer the Sorcerer Supreme's big screen debut. As Marvel fans probably know, Doctor Strange resides in the Greenwich Village area of New York, which is in the city's lower west side.
So while it stands to reason that Derrickson and his team were seeking possible locations for Stephen Strange's Manhattan residence, they could have sought a potential Nether-realm as well. After all, New York City can get pretty weird.
Starring Benedict Cumberbatch, Doctor Strange opens on November 4, 2016.
