Jason Voorhees Joins Mortal Kombat X

Jason Voorhees, the notorious slasher from the Friday the 13th film series, will be a playable character in Mortal Kombat X.

Mortal Kombat creator Ed Boon tweeted out the teaser video on, appropriately enough, Friday, March 13. The video can be seen below.

Boon also said that Voorhees will be the games' first DLC Kombat Pack character.

Mortal Kombat X goes on sale April 14.
