Two weeks ago, ComicBook.com reported on Kevin Smith gifting the bat Margot Robbie wields as Harley Quinn in Suicide Squad to his daughter, Harley Quinn Smith, who was named after the Batman villain. But how did Smith come to possess the bat in the first place?
Smith revealed on Facebook that the bat was given to him by Warner Bros. as a thank you for hosting the DC Films coming out special Dawn of the Justice League.
Smith writes that he presented the bat to his daughter as a totem to help guide her on her life's journey.
Harley Quinn Smith would one day like to play her namesake, but for now the role belongs to Robbie. Check out when Robbie's debut as Harley in Suicide Squad and other movies are coming out in ComicBook.com's Movie Release Schedule.
