Filmmaker Kevin Smith (Clerks) presented his daughter, Harley Quinn Smith (Yoga Hosers, Tusk), with a wooden baseball bat, which reads "Good Night," that Margot Robbie's Harley Quinn wields in David Ayer's Suicide Squad. The gift is extra special to the 16-year-old budding actress as she recently revealed in this week's Sundance issue of The Hollywood Reporter that she would like to one day play her literal namesake.

"While reading the piece (entitled 'Mr & Miss Smith') I actually learned something about my kid: she wants to one day play her namesake," Kevin Smith wrote. "All this time, she's never said anything about it to me. Then I read this quote: 'I will not leave this earth until I play Harley Quinn.' 'atta girl, Kiddo! Shoot the moon! In a world where "that a--hole from Fashionable Male" wound up being the best Batman we've ever had, why the f--k CAN'T you play Harley Quinn one day? Play her - just never BE her (especially with the lousy taste in men). Always strive to be the Harley Quinn you are now: the Harley Quinn who made my life mean something when she turned me into a Dad."

Harley Quinn Smith posted a photo of the Suicide Squad movie prop, along with this elated message. "Instagram will slowly just become pictures of me crying tears of joy. Today the impossible became possible; my dad gave me Harley Quinn's bat from Suicide Squad with a certificate of authenticity," Smith's daughter gushed. "I'm not joking when I say I cried for an hour. Life is a beautiful, magical thing. I was coincidentally also wearing this sweater. ONE STEP CLOSER TO PLAYING HARLEY QUINN I WILL MAKE YOU PROUD MARGOT."

It feels good to be bad… Assemble a team of the world’s most dangerous, incarcerated Super Villains, provide them with the most powerful arsenal at the government’s disposal, and send them off on a mission to defeat an enigmatic, insuperable entity. U.S. intelligence officer Amanda Waller has determined only a secretly convened group of disparate, despicable individuals with next to nothing to lose will do. However, once they realize they weren’t picked to succeed but chosen for their patent culpability when they inevitably fail, will the Suicide Squad resolve to die trying, or decide it’s every man for himself?

Suicide Squad is set to be released August 5, 2016.

Why do so many love such an obnoxious character who is cashing in on a far better character's popularity?

Why concern yourself about someone else's money?  Why do you care what anyone else thinks of him?  If what he's doing isn't affecting your life, why do you give s s**t?

" a--hole from Fashionable Male" wound up being the best Batman we've ever had . . ." "Eisenberg will ruin the movie." Equally ridiculous statements to make given the small amount of footage we've seen.

What in the world are you talking about? None of this makes any sense in relation to what I wrote.
