Marvel Reveals Local Comic Shop Day Variants

Marvel today unveiled two variant covers being released to celebrate Local Comic Shop Day. Dave Marquez's All-New, All-Different Avengers #1 variant and Bengal's All-New Wolverine #1 sketch variant will be available at participating comic shops.

"LOCAL COMIC SHOP DAY™ is a great way for Marvel to give back to the comic book stores that support us," says Marvel SVP Sales & Marketing David Gabriel, in a press release. "It has never been a better time for fans to jump in to the Marvel Universe, and we're delighted to offer these two exclusive items. Head to your local comic shop on Saturday, November 28th to support Local Comic Shop Day."

Local Comic Shop day is a new event conceived of by the ComicsPRO organization in order to "showcase the amazing world of comics and call attention to the vital role comic book specialty stores play in this industry." The first Local Comic Shop Day will be observed on Nov. 28. Retailers can speak with their Diamond representatives for ordering information.
