New Disney Infinity Marvel Battlegrounds Trailer Released Online

A new trailer for Marvel Battlegrounds, the next Marvel Play Set for Disney Infinity 3.0 was released online Tuesday. Part of the "Disney Infinity NEXT" presentation, the new Play Set is the first of four coming to Disney Infinity in 2016.

The trailer shows off the arcade brawler gameplay of the new play set, as well as showing off new characters announced for the play set. Black Panther, Ant-Man, and Vision are all coming to the game, and Black Suit Spider-Man, previously a PlayStation Vita exclusive figure, will also be sold individually for the first time.

Check out the trailer featuring Marvel characters in battle with the first-ever Four-player local gameplay in Disney Infinity above. More new characters in addition to those announced in the trailer and gallery will also come in 2016.

The Marvel Battleground play set will also see new Marvel-themed power discs released alongside it, with some new power-ups and vehicles. Cosmic Cube Blast unleashes a powerful energy blast on nearby foes, Darkhawk's Blast is a concentrated energy beam, Nova Corps Strike brings down a tactical strike from above, and Ghost Rider's Motorcycle is a new ridable vehicle.
