Paramount Confirms Film Adaptation of The Activity
05/06/2015 12:51 pm EDT
Paramount Pictures has officially greenlit a feature film adaptation of the comic book series "The Activity."
Confirmed by original comic series writer Nathan Edmondson on his Instagram page earlier today, the film will be written by Black Hawk Down's Ken Nolan and produced by Dan Lin. Nolan comes with some credibility for "The Activity," having written the introduction to the series' third paperback collection.
According to Edmondson's announcement, Paramount is now seeking a director and cast to bring Nolan's vision to life. Written by Edmondson and illustrated by Mitch Gerads, "The Activity" tells the story of a secret, advanced special operations unit that's part of the Intelligence Support Activity. The group is equipped with the latest technology and authorized to use whatever means necessary to fix missions gone bad.
Edmondson promised that more announcements would come soon, so stay tuned to ComicBook.com for more news on "The Activity" as it breaks.
