Prime 1 Studio Making 90's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Statues

Upon viewing these for the first time, I couldn't help but sing it.

Go ninja, Go ninja go!

I'm probably not alone in that regard either, as the 1990's version of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles influenced many an imagination. For the first time we were seeing these characters on the big screen, and while cg has continued to evolve since the original film, there is something about the practical effects that were used that just helps it stand up a bit better than other films of its ilk.

Prime 1 Studios recognized this as well, as their new line of statues features the heroes in a half shell in all their 90's glory, and the likeness is eerily good. They literally look as if they stepped out of the film, and each one connects with the others to form a full-scale diorama.

That said, I hope you have some space, both in your wallet and in your home. Each one of these statues is about 30's tall, so displaying even just a singular statue is going to require a sizable platform. Also the turtles aren't going to be cheap. No specifics yet, but the previous statues ran around the $800 mark, so expect about the same for these.

You can see more shots of the set in the gallery below. If you could afford just one of these, which one would it be? For me, it's Donatello all the way.
