Remembering Sir Alec Guinness On His Birthday

Today is the late actor Sir Alec Guinness' birthday.
One of the 20th century's leading actors in his prime, Guinness will be forever known to most as Obi-Wan Kenobi. Guinness portrayed the Jedi master in Star Wars: A New Hope, Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back, and Star Wars: Return of the Jedi. As the face of one of pop culture's most iconic characters, it is Guinness' likeness that everyone sees when Obi-Wan appears in animation, art, or video games.
Guinness also held memorable roles in iconic films like Lawrence of Arabia, Scrooge, and The Comedians. After a long and successful career, Guinness passed away at the age of 86 in 2000.
Born in Sussex, England, Guinness would have turned 101 today. Happy Birthday, Alec Guinness.
