Matt Murdock's old master is coming back for Daredevil season 2, Marvel TV announced Wednesday afternoon on the official Daredevil twitter. The blind master martial artist Stick as portrayed by Scott Glenn will appear in three episodes of the second season, which has thus far been largely billed as "Daredevil vs. Punisher."
The official press release teased that Stick comes to Daredevil "right when he needs him the least!" and that he has "a new mission that Matt wants no part of."
Scott Glenn's lone episode of season 1, titled simply "Stick," received praise from critics and fans alike. As Matt's instructor, he showed that sight wasn't necessary to hold your own, leading to some intense training scenes and a final knock-down drag-out fight between the pair.
Season 2 of Netflix and Marvel's hit collaboration Daredevil will premiere "in 2016," likely in the Spring mirroring season 1's release.
